The durable and hard-wearing planks are 12mm in thickness and come with a high quality AC5 rating, which means that this Dark Oak will suit rooms with heavy foot traffic in both a residential or commercial setting. It also has an anti-bacterial coating designed to protect the surface from germs and ensures cleaning and maintenance will be easy and stress-free. Completed with 4-sided V-grooves and a realistic wood effect design, this attractive floor perfectly reproduces the looks of solid oak.
Acclimatisation
On delivery, check the outer packaging for any visible damage before signing — you don't need to open every pack. Then allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting, keeping packs sealed and laid flat.

This product comes with a 30 Years manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.

The colour in person is noticeably darker than it appeared on my screen. It's not unpleasant, just different to what I was planning for. A couple of the boards also took a bit of persuading to click together properly. Looks passable once down but I'd order a sample first if I were doing it again.

I ordered 29 packs of laminate St Peters Dark Oak 12mm to cover my back lounge 6.2m L x 3.5m W and hallway measuring 11m L x 1.25m W along with the matching Dark oak scotia Beading and rubber backed foil 2mm underlay. They all work seamlessly once laid to give my lounge and hallway a complete lift in terms of looks and feel under feet. As soon as someone sees it for the first time their reaction was and is WOW that looks really nice. I have to say the finish on the laminate is Superb which is of Solid Oak wood and natural grain texture which is not slippery under feet when dry. Highly recommended. Thank you Floor Depot.
