Payment Information

FloorDepot.co.uk accepts payment by many different means which include by credit card, debit card or bank transfer. We will not accept liability for any charges made by banks for bank transfer services.

When you place an order with FloorDepot.co.uk, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. We will then check the price and availability of the goods. If we accept your order, we will email you again to confirm that a contract has been made between us. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing, or description mistake, we will advise you of this and there will be no contract between us. We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order. Once payment has been received your order will be processed.

Offers and Promotions

We may from time to time offer promotions on some of our products or product ranges. All promotions and offers are, unless otherwise stated, strictly one per household and are subject to stock availability. We reserve the right to change the details of a promotion or withdraw a promotion at our discretion.

Delivery Services and Charges (all prices below include VAT)

  • Cut-off time for delivery is 12pm (after this time your order will be shipped the following working day, where possible)
Priority Delivery £58 Standard Size / £112 Oversized
  • We will aim to deliver within 1-3 working days (where possible)
  • Between 8am - 5pm
  • Delivery to kerbside only - courier will not bring in to your home, inside flats or upstairs (please arrange for help beforehand if you may need some to bring your order into your home)
  • Cut-off time for priority delivery is 11am

Delivery Considerations


Any of our deliveries could be made on anything up to an 7.5 tonne wagon, so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If access is likely to be a problem please inform us at the time of order to discuss alternative delivery options.

Missed Deliveries

If your order arrives as arranged, but we're unable to deliver because there's nobody home, the goods are refused, there's inadequate help available or the order is changed/cancelled within 48 hours of your delivery, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for the goods being returned which in most cases would be a minimum of £50, actual return costs will be calculated at the time of return.

If for any of the above reasons your delivery is returned back to our depot, your order will be refunded minus the initial delivery cost (if delivery was discounted, the full delivery cost of £45 will still be deducted), and a the full return costs (provided by our courier partner), this is to cover the cost of courier returning our goods back to our depot. This is strictly non-refundable.

What To Do If Everything Isn't As It Should Be?

It is very important to check every package delivered for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival, this means removing any pallet wrap / container and fully inspecting before the delivery driver leaves. In the rare event that you receive damaged goods or there are missing items, it must be noted on the courier's paperwork, if any damage or missed items is reported after the delivery driver has left your property we will be unable to claim for goods damaged or lost in transit. We also strongly suggest that you contact us directly as soon as possible to make sure we are aware of the problem so that we can resolve it as quickly as possible.

Returns and cancellations

We are sure you will be pleased with your purchase from us, we pride ourselves in supplying high quality goods at great value. However, sometimes things don't go to plan and we understand that people change their minds.

If necessary, you can cancel your full order with us at any time up to 41 days after the day of ordering for a full refund of your products (minus all delivery and return costs). If you wish to return any goods they must be complete, unused, and in "as new" condition, items sold in pairs such as herringbone floors with A and B packs must be returned as a pair.

The 41 days return policy is only applicable to orders placed online. Orders placed in store are limited to a 14 day refund policy from the point of placing the order (excluding special order and custom items such as carpet/artificial grass).

If you wish to return any goods you must ensure that they are well packaged to protect against any damage in transit. If you have opened any boxes to examine the product we recommend that you take care with the packaging and try not to damage it as it is specifically designed for the product. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we may charge accordingly.

All returns must be in re-sellable condition, fully opened boxes can not be re-sold.

If you wish to cancel your order within the 41 day period you must return the goods to us at your own expense. All returns must be accompanied by a valid returns authorisation number which can be obtained from our customer service team. You will need to return the goods back to us via your chosen courier and must be returned to:

Please note - the above returns rules do not apply to bespoke products, those products made to your specifications or any product that is cut from a roll to your required measurements.

Discounts & Returns

If a promo code was used for purchase which provided discounted delivery, when returning any flooring for a refund we would need to take into account the promo. For example if you ordered 20 packs of flooring at a cost of £510 and the promo code provided FREE delivery over £500, if you returned 2 packs of flooring for a refund for £100, we would also need to deduct the delivery cost on your refund (plus any return costs) which would have been charged initially with there being less packs on the order.

Manufacturing fault claims

We do our very best to ensure your flooring is as expected and without fault. Regrettably, on very few occasions this may not be the case and we would like to apologise beforehand.

To avoid unnecessary delays and inconvenience to you it is important to check each board within 7 days of being delivered to make sure you have the right product and to check it is without fault or damage. If you are unfortunate enough to notice a fault before installation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will deal with the matter as soon as possible and in accordance with your legal rights.

Other information

Before you place an order it is important that you check the manufacturer’s specification details for suitability of their intended purpose. If you are unsure about the suitability of the goods then please ask our customer service team.

We cannot guarantee the colour/pattern matching from a computer monitor. Therefore, it is recommended you view the product in person via our free sample service (delivery is £3.99) or in one of our showrooms.

Privacy and security

Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, and we promise never to release your personal details to any outside company for mailing or marketing purposes. We may contact you occasionally via email with offers and information that may be of interest to you, but you may unsubscribe from this service at any time by following the instructions within the email.

We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide. Therefore, we maintain the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.
