Acclimatisation

Fine for the spare room
Looks decent enough and went down without too much hassle. Probably wouldn't put it in the main living area — it's good but not quite the luxury feel I'd want in a showpiece room. That said, for a spare bedroom it does the job and the grey tone is nice.

Transformed our living room
Was sick of the old carpet and took a punt on this — best decision we've made. The herringbone pattern looks so much more expensive than it was and the 6mm thickness means it feels really substantial underfoot. Couple of boards at the edges needed a bit of coaxing but that's just fitting, not a product issue.

Colour is slightly off from photos
In person it's noticeably cooler and greyer than it appeared on screen — expected something a bit warmer. It's not a bad floor by any means and the click system went together fine, but just worth being aware the photos are a touch misleading. Looks OK in the room, I'm just not in love with it.
Our old laminate was awful — what a difference
Previous owners had some horrible scratched laminate down in the hallway and landing. Ripped it all out and put this down instead. The grey oak colour works brilliantly with our decor and the 6mm SPC feels really robust — no hollow sound when you walk on it, which was always an issue before. Very happy.
Nice floor, tricky pattern to lay
Took longer to fit than expected — herringbone always does — but the end result is stunning. Colour is exactly as shown online, which is always a relief when ordering flooring without seeing it in person first.
