Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Lovely colour

Kitchen flooring — happy with it
So I was a bit nervous going for an 8mm laminate in the kitchen but for a low-traffic household it's been absolutely fine so far. Looks warm and welcoming, easy to clean. Just remember it's not suitable for wet rooms — obvious really but worth saying.

Fitted this on the upstairs landing to replace a tatty carpet. Click system was a little fiddly around the door frames but nothing you wouldn't expect with laminate. Colour is spot on — nice warm brown that goes with pretty much anything.
