Took longer to fit than expected but the result is stunning
The herringbone pattern means more cuts and a bit more thinking than a straight lay, so set aside more time than you think you'll need. That said, once it was down in our living room it looked absolutely stunning. Several people have asked if we had it professionally done. The rigid core feels proper solid — no give at all.

Love the herringbone look
Absolutely love how this turned out in our hallway. The charcoal oak colour with the herringbone pattern makes such a statement when you walk in the front door. Feels really substantial underfoot for an SPC product at this thickness — the rigid core definitely helps. Would recommend.

Brilliant in the conservatory
Much better than our old laminate which was starting to lift at the edges. This SPC version has no such worries — completely rigid, handles the temperature changes in the conservatory without any issues. Colour is gorgeous too, very contemporary.
Slightly darker than the photos but I actually prefer it
The colour online looked a touch lighter than what arrived, but honestly once it was down I liked it more than the original photo. Goes really well with our cream walls. The herringbone layout took a bit of planning to get the angles right but worth the effort.

Very pleased overall, minor gripe about tile design options
The flooring itself is brilliant — solid, great colour, the herringbone looks genuinely expensive. Only minor thing is I wish there were a couple more colourway options in this range. The charcoal is lovely but I'd have liked to see a warmer tone too. That aside, no complaints at all.
Transformed our open plan kitchen
Our old vinyl was knackered and this has completely changed the feel of the whole ground floor. The herringbone pattern adds a bit of class without being over the top. Fitting was straightforward — took me and my partner a full day for about 30 square metres but we're not professionals. The click system was easy to get the hang of once you've done a few rows. Colour is spot on, matches the grey kitchen units perfectly.

Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but this arrived well packaged and the quality is better than I expected at this price point. The SPC core gives it a really firm feel — no springiness or hollow sound when you walk on it. Colour is a genuine charcoal oak, not some wishy-washy grey.

Fitted this last weekend and couldn't be happier. The charcoal tone is exactly what we wanted — dark enough to feel dramatic but not so dark it swallows the light. Rigid core means it feels really solid underfoot, no flex at all. Clicked together nicely too.
Took a couple of goes to get the click right
First time I've used a click system and it took me a bit to get used to the angle you need to lock the boards. Once I figured it out, went down a treat. End result in the bedroom is lovely — the dark tone is more subtle in a smaller room than I expected, in a good way.
