Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Minor learning curve on the click system
Took me a couple of attempts to get the hang of the click mechanism — worth watching a YouTube video first honestly. Once I got the technique sorted though it went down a treat. The herringbone layout in our hallway looks really smart and the rigid core keeps everything nice and stable. Four stars just for that initial fiddliness.
Took longer than expected but worth it
I won't pretend the herringbone layout is quick — it took me and my partner a full weekend to do the lounge. But the end result is genuinely stunning. The rigid core clicks together securely and the antique oak finish has real depth to it. Wouldn't rush anyone through it.

The colour came up a touch darker than the website photos suggested, but actually I think it looks better for it — richer and more like real aged oak. The rigid core gives a solid feel underfoot which is reassuring. Laying the herringbone pattern is a bit of a puzzle at first but there are good tutorials online. Four stars only because I'd have liked a slightly wider plank option.

Fitted this last weekend in the spare bedroom. Acclimatised it for 48 hours first as recommended, and the whole room went down in about four hours. The herringbone pattern is fiddly around the edges but worth the effort — looks brilliant. Feels solid underfoot for an SPC product at this price point.

Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online
Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online — worried the colour wouldn't match what I'd seen. Ordered a sample first which was a good call. The actual boards matched perfectly. The SPC core means it feels firm and stable, none of that hollow bounce you get with cheaper click floors. Fitted it in the conservatory and it's handled the temperature changes without any issues so far.

Transformed our hallway
Our old carpet was a complete state — dark, worn, and impossible to keep clean. Swapped it out for this herringbone and honestly the hallway looks like it belongs in a completely different house. The antique oak colour is spot on, warmer than I expected from the photos. Rigid core means no flex underfoot which I was a bit worried about on an uneven subfloor, but it's held up fine. Really pleased.

Looks much more expensive than it is
Genuinely surprised by how upmarket this looks in person. The antique oak colouring is warm and natural-looking without being overdone. The SPC rigid core means no flex or hollow sound when you walk on it, which makes a real difference. Couple of boards in the pack had a very minor cosmetic mark on the edge but nothing that affected the finished floor.
