Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Took longer than I expected to fit the whole living room — probably about eight hours in total for a first-timer — but the end result is absolutely stunning. Feels like a proper premium floor, solid underfoot with no creaking. The rustic oak design has real depth to it, doesn't look cheap or printed. Partner is thrilled, which is the main thing.

Went down in the utility room alongside our washing machine and tumble dryer. Nice and waterproof, easy to wipe clean. Fitted in about two hours.

Fitted the landing and top of the stairs with this. The rustic finish hides scuffs and dirt really well which is exactly what you need in a high-traffic area. Feels sturdy, no bounce or flex when you walk on it. Had a couple of boards with very minor surface marks out of the box but nothing that's visible once down.

The rustic oak colour is really well done — warm without being too yellow, and the grain detail looks natural rather than plasticky. A few people have asked if it's real wood. Only tiny gripe is I wish there were a couple more colour options in the range, but this one works beautifully in our hallway and kitchen.

Pricier than some options I looked at, but the quality is noticeably better. Feels substantial when you walk on it, the click system is tight and secure, and the finish looks genuinely like real wood. Our living room has been transformed.
