Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Landed quickly, looked great immediately
Delivery was fast and everything was well packaged. Fitting was smooth and the herringbone layout really elevates an otherwise simple room. Wish there were a couple more shade variations in the range, but this one is gorgeous as-is.

Really pleased overall
The 12mm thickness makes a noticeable difference — feels really stable and solid when you walk on it. The herringbone pattern looked daunting at first but there are good tutorial videos online and I managed it over two days. Only thing I'd say is you need a bit more waste allowance than standard plank laying, so order a bit extra.

Absolutely transformed our living room
Was using tired cream carpet before and honestly this has made the whole space look twice the size. The midnight black oak pattern is bold but not overwhelming — goes brilliantly with our grey walls. 12mm feels really solid underfoot too, no flex at all. Very happy with this purchase.
Fitted the hallway in a weekend
Wasn't sure about the herringbone pattern being fiddly to lay but once you get the hang of the click system it's actually straightforward enough. Make sure you acclimatise it for 48 hours first — did that and had no issues at all. Hallway looks incredible, loads of compliments from visitors.
Great addition to the living room
Ordered this after umm-ing and ahh-ing for weeks about whether black oak would be too dark. It isn't. Paired with cream walls and wooden furniture it looks fantastic. The 12mm thickness means it absorbs sound well too, which was something we hadn't really thought about beforehand.

Much better than our old laminate
Previous floor was thin and hollow-sounding. This 12mm version is a completely different experience — feels weighty and substantial. The herringbone adds a real wow factor. Our estate agent came round and immediately commented on the floor, so that says something.

Was worried about fitting it myself
Turns out it's dead easy. Took me and my partner a day to do the bedroom and landing. The click system is satisfying to use and the boards feel sturdy. Colour is exactly as described — dark and sleek. Couldn't ask for more.
Slightly darker in person but I actually love it more
The boards came a touch darker than they looked on my monitor, but honestly that worked in my favour — the depth of colour in real life is gorgeous. Herringbone layout adds a real classic feel to what was a pretty plain bedroom. Not the quickest floor I've ever fitted but the result is worth every minute.
Took a bit longer than expected to fit
Herringbone is more time-consuming than straight planks — not the product's fault, just the pattern. But once it was down I genuinely stood and stared at it for a while. The dark colour works beautifully in our north-facing living room. Feels very solid at 12mm, no hollow sound when you walk on it.

Fitted this last weekend in the extension
Our new extension needed something that felt high-end and this absolutely delivered. The midnight black tone is rich without being flat — you can see real depth in the grain. Click system is solid, boards lock together well. Finished the whole room in about six hours including prep. Brilliant.
