Good stuff
Solid laminate, looks the part. Happy with it.
Looks stunning in the hallway
Fitted this last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The herringbone pattern gives it a really high-end feel and at 12mm it's genuinely solid underfoot — nothing hollow about it. Couple of neighbours have already asked where it's from.
Stunning in the bedroom
Fitted this in the bedroom last weekend and it looks absolutely class. The dark oak finish is so rich — proper striking against our light grey walls. At 12mm it feels genuinely solid underfoot, not that hollow tap you get with cheaper boards. Really pleased.
Transforms a room
Fitted this in the living room last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The herringbone pattern looks genuinely high-end — people keep asking if it's real wood. At 12mm it feels really solid underfoot, no hollow sound at all.
Nice
Really pleased with it.
Midnight oak in the lounge
Fitted this last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The 12mm thickness makes such a difference — genuinely feels solid and substantial underfoot, nothing like the budget stuff we had before. The herringbone pattern looks absolutely class.
Great laminate, minor fitting faff
Took a bit longer to fit than I anticipated — herringbone always does — but the end result is absolutely stunning. Feels really substantial underfoot, which you'd expect at 12mm. Would've given five stars but a couple of the boards were slightly tricky to click together. Still, very happy overall.
Does exactly what it says
Good quality laminate. Does the job well.
Transformed the living room
Fitted this last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The midnight colour is stunning — looks so much more expensive than it is. 12mm feels really solid underfoot too, proper premium feel.
Stunning finish in the living room
Fitted this over the weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The herringbone pattern gives it a really high-end look and the 12mm thickness means it feels proper solid underfoot — none of that hollow clacking you get with cheaper laminates. Colour is exactly as pictured too, deep and rich without being too dark.
Absolutely stunning
Fitted this throughout our open-plan lounge and dining room last month and honestly couldn't be happier. The midnight black colour is bold but works brilliantly with our grey walls — really striking. At 12mm it feels properly solid underfoot, nothing flimsy about it at all.
Does exactly what it says
Good quality laminate. Looks the part.
Stunning in the lounge
Fitted this over a weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The dark oak colour is rich and consistent — looks far more expensive than it is. 12mm means it feels proper solid underfoot too, no hollow feeling at all.
Midnight oak vibes
Fitted this throughout the open plan kitchen and dining area last month. At 12mm it feels genuinely solid underfoot — no flex, no hollow sound. The herringbone pattern was fiddly to plan out but absolutely worth it. Looks like something from a boutique hotel.
Stunning floor
Absolutely love this. Transformed the living room completely.
Does the job
Good quality laminate. Looks smart.
Landed quickly, looked great immediately
Delivery was fast and everything was well packaged. Fitting was smooth and the herringbone layout really elevates an otherwise simple room. Wish there were a couple more shade variations in the range, but this one is gorgeous as-is.
Looks premium
Easy to fit. Looks premium. Feels substantial.
Perfect for our hallway
Perfect for our hallway.
Good stuff
Does exactly what it should.
Really pleased overall
The 12mm thickness makes a noticeable difference — feels really stable and solid when you walk on it. The herringbone pattern looked daunting at first but there are good tutorial videos online and I managed it over two days. Only thing I'd say is you need a bit more waste allowance than standard plank laying, so order a bit extra.
Brilliant value
For what you pay, the quality is exceptional. Feels genuinely premium.
Absolutely transformed our living room
Was using tired cream carpet before and honestly this has made the whole space look twice the size. The midnight black oak pattern is bold but not overwhelming — goes brilliantly with our grey walls. 12mm feels really solid underfoot too, no flex at all. Very happy with this purchase.
Fitted the hallway in a weekend
Wasn't sure about the herringbone pattern being fiddly to lay but once you get the hang of the click system it's actually straightforward enough. Make sure you acclimatise it for 48 hours first — did that and had no issues at all. Hallway looks incredible, loads of compliments from visitors.
Great addition to the living room
Ordered this after umm-ing and ahh-ing for weeks about whether black oak would be too dark. It isn't. Paired with cream walls and wooden furniture it looks fantastic. The 12mm thickness means it absorbs sound well too, which was something we hadn't really thought about beforehand.
Nice
Good quality laminate. Does the job well.
Much better than our old laminate
Previous floor was thin and hollow-sounding. This 12mm version is a completely different experience — feels weighty and substantial. The herringbone adds a real wow factor. Our estate agent came round and immediately commented on the floor, so that says something.
Our downstairs loo has never looked better
Small space, big impact. The herringbone pattern in a tight room looks genuinely luxurious and the dark colour hides scuffs brilliantly. 12mm feels rock solid. Fitted in a couple of hours. Absolutely recommend for smaller rooms where you want to make a statement.
Stunning floor
Genuinely couldn't be happier. The colour is rich and dramatic without feeling too dark, and at 12mm it feels like proper quality underfoot. Laid it throughout our open plan kitchen and dining area. Really ties the room together.
Solid, looks the part
No complaints. Exactly what we ordered.
Gorgeous colour
Exactly the drama we wanted for our dining room. Rich dark tone, lovely grain detail. Feels like real quality.
Was worried about fitting it myself
Turns out it's dead easy. Took me and my partner a day to do the bedroom and landing. The click system is satisfying to use and the boards feel sturdy. Colour is exactly as described — dark and sleek. Couldn't ask for more.
Slightly darker in person but I actually love it more
The boards came a touch darker than they looked on my monitor, but honestly that worked in my favour — the depth of colour in real life is gorgeous. Herringbone layout adds a real classic feel to what was a pretty plain bedroom. Not the quickest floor I've ever fitted but the result is worth every minute.
Took a bit longer than expected to fit
Herringbone is more time-consuming than straight planks — not the product's fault, just the pattern. But once it was down I genuinely stood and stared at it for a while. The dark colour works beautifully in our north-facing living room. Feels very solid at 12mm, no hollow sound when you walk on it.
Kitchen floor sorted
Needed something to replace old vinyl in the kitchen. This does the job perfectly and looks far more expensive than it is.
Fitted this last weekend in the extension
Our new extension needed something that felt high-end and this absolutely delivered. The midnight black tone is rich without being flat — you can see real depth in the grain. Click system is solid, boards lock together well. Finished the whole room in about six hours including prep. Brilliant.
Herringbone laminate
On the whole, Floor Depot themselves provided good service but could have communicated a bit more on the order status as the supplier took almost a month to provide stock
