Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Not the cheapest option but you can see where the money goes — solid underfoot, great pattern.
Great landing floor
Used this on the landing and top of the stairs and it's given the whole upstairs a much more polished feel. The colour photographs beautifully — warm oak tones that work with pretty much anything. Delivery was quick and the boards arrived in good condition.

Wasn't sure about fitting it myself — I'm not particularly handy — but turns out it's dead easy. The click system locks in well and the rigid core means it lies flat without needing too much fuss. The herringbone pattern looks brilliant in our open-plan kitchen diner. My partner was sceptical about ordering flooring online but she loves it now, so that's a win.

Much better than our old laminate
We had cheap laminate down for years and it was always slightly springy and hollow-sounding. This SPC feels completely different — rigid and quiet. The herringbone pattern in this oak shade looks genuinely high-end. A few of the boards did have very minor surface marks when we opened the packs, but nothing that's visible once it's laid. Overall very happy and would buy again.
Herringbone pattern is stunning
Was nervous about ordering flooring online without seeing it in person, but the Sablemere Oak colour is spot on — warm, natural-looking, not too yellow or too grey. The herringbone lay adds so much character to the living room. Took a bit longer to fit than standard plank flooring because of the pattern matching, but the end result is genuinely stunning. Would absolutely recommend.

So pleased with how this turned out in the bedroom. The Sablemere Oak shade is really versatile — works with our grey walls and natural wood furniture. The SPC core means no squeaking or movement, which was always the issue with our old floor. Fitting was manageable over a weekend.

Fitted this last weekend in the bedroom. Took me a Saturday morning working alone. The click system is decent — I'd say it's worth watching a quick video beforehand if you've not done it before, just to get the knack of the angle. End result looks really smart though, very pleased.
Slightly darker than the photos
Slightly darker in real life than on screen, but actually I prefer it — looks richer and warmer. The pattern is really striking in the conservatory. Took a bit of getting used to the click system at first but once it clicked (literally) it was straightforward. Four stars only because I initially ordered the wrong amount and had to wait for more stock, but that's entirely on me.

Perfect for our extension
Laid this throughout our new garden room extension and it's held up really well over the past few months, including through some temperature swings. The SPC core handles that much better than laminate would. Really pleased with the oak finish — pairs nicely with the white walls and bi-fold doors. Only minor thing is I wish there were a couple more shade options in the same range, but the Sablemere tone works well for us.
Transformed our hallway
Our old carpet was a nightmare — muddy paw prints everywhere, constantly looking grubby. Ripped it out and laid this herringbone SPC and honestly the hallway looks like something out of a show home now. The rigid core means it feels really solid underfoot, none of that hollow click you get with cheaper vinyl. Fitted the whole thing in an afternoon with my brother-in-law and the click system was straightforward once we got the angle right. Couldn't be happier.

Really impressed with the quality
Bought this for the living room after seeing a similar herringbone style in a showroom for about three times the price. The rigid core gives a genuinely solid feel underfoot — no flex or movement at all. The oak finish is realistic-looking, not plasticky. We had underfloor heating and it's been absolutely fine with it. Took a couple of hours longer to lay than I anticipated because herringbone takes more planning, but the result is worth every bit of the extra effort. Guests keep asking if it's real wood.
