Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Good quality engineered oak. Lay it, oil it, done. Looks exactly like proper wood because it is proper wood.
Very pleased overall
Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but this arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. The unfinished surface took the oil really well and the colour we ended up with is exactly what we were after. Would buy again.

Stunning in our hallway
Fitted this last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The brushed finish gives it a really natural, textured look — doesn't feel like a cheap imitation at all. Our hallway has been transformed.
Not quite what I expected
The colour in person is quite a bit lighter than the photos online, which threw me off at first. It's grown on me a bit and the quality of the boards themselves is fine, but I wish the images were more accurate. Looks OK in the room now but I'd have chosen a different shade had I known.
Decent board, takes a bit of prep
Being unfinished means you've got to do the oiling yourself which takes time, but you do get a lot of control over the final colour. The boards themselves are nice and wide — 190mm makes a real difference to how it looks once laid. Slight learning curve if you haven't oiled before.
Absolutely love it
Our old carpet was hideous — sticky, dark, and about twenty years past its best. This oak has completely changed the feel of the whole ground floor. The brushed texture is subtle but adds so much character.
