St Peters Dark Oak is a bold and beautiful oak effect laminate floor. When looking at these boards, you will find yourself constantly wondering how it manages to create such a striking resemblance to solid oak and keep it a such a great price. These deep coffee coloured boards have gorgeous graining, rings and dark knots. Dancing along beside the shadows are lovely and welcome bright highlights which balance out the overall look of this flooring and ensure that the prints are accurate portrayals of natural wood. These boards all have fine etching on the surface and so when you run your fingers across the planks, you can feel each knot and grain, which perfectly correlate to what your eyes are seeing.
There is a stunning micro-bevelled edge that works its way around all four sides of each individual plank meaning that when the flooring has been correctly installed, there is a visible line around each board. This not only bears resemblance to the joins in solid wood, but allows you to see the beauty of the individual boards before taking a step back and seeing how they all come together and create a bold flooring that will make all your guests jealous. These boards are long and narrow and so are able to be fitted in any space or room, regardless of the size and will still look just as stunning, and thanks to the click system that has been installed you will notice just how easy and hassle free this flooring is to fit. Allowing you to jump straight into admiring your flooring, instead of worrying about how to lay it.

Happy customer
Second time buying this product now — did the lounge a couple of years ago and it's still going strong, so ordered more for the study. Consistency is good, the new boards match the old ones well. Great durable floor.
Perfect for the dining room
This went down in our dining room and it's transformed the space. Deep, warm colour that photographs really well too — very happy with the overall result.
Great value for 10mm
You do pay a little more for 10mm but honestly it's worth it. No hollow sound when you walk on it, feels more like real wood than laminate. The St Peters Dark Oak is a really handsome colour — goes with almost any décor.
Good product, wish there were more shade options
Really solid laminate and the finish is lovely — smooth, consistent, and the oak grain looks realistic rather than plasticky. Goes down nicely and feels weighty underfoot. Only thing stopping me giving five stars is I wish there were a couple more colour variations in this range, a slightly lighter option would've been perfect for our conservatory. Still a great buy though.
Luxury feel without the luxury price
I was expecting it to look okay but this actually looks stunning. The dark oak colouring has real depth to it and the 10mm thickness gives it a really premium feel underfoot. Had a few people round since fitting it and everyone's commented on the floor. Would absolutely recommend.
Does exactly what it says
No fuss, no issues. Looks great.
Stunning in the living room
Laid this across our entire living room last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The dark oak tone is really rich and warm — looks far more expensive than it was. 10mm feels genuinely solid underfoot too, no flex at all.
Kitchen transformation
Replaced old tired tiles in the kitchen with this and what a difference. The dark oak works really well against our white units. Fitting was straightforward and it's held up well to splashes and general kitchen life.
Nice floor but took a few boards to find my rhythm
The floor itself is genuinely nice — thick, good looking, and the dark oak is a rich colour in person. Took me a few boards to get comfortable with the locking system but after that it clicked into place really easily. Would recommend, just factor in a bit of practice time if you're a first-time fitter.
Landing and stairs area
Used this on the landing and it's tied the upstairs together perfectly. Colour matches well with our skirting boards and the quality feels right for the price point. Would buy again.
Great floor, slight learning curve with the clicks
Really pleased with how this has turned out in our hallway. The colour is gorgeous — deep and consistent across the boards. Only reason I'm giving four stars is the click system took a bit of getting used to on the first few rows, but once I got the hang of it the rest went down a treat.
Solid choice for a busy household
We've got two kids and a dog and needed something that could handle the chaos. Three months in and this floor still looks as good as the day it went down. The dark oak hides everyday marks well and the 10mm thickness means it genuinely feels premium, not that hollow feeling you get with cheaper options. Very happy.
Absolutely love it
Our open plan kitchen diner has never looked better. The dark oak is striking without being too heavy and the floor feels so solid underfoot. Couldn't ask for more.
Really impressed
Wasn't sure about going so dark but it works beautifully in our lounge. Really impressed with how substantial it feels — definitely not a budget product. Fitting was easy enough for a first-timer too.
Good quality laminate
Solid, good-looking floor. The 10mm makes a real difference compared to thinner laminates I've fitted before — much more satisfying to walk on.
Solid 4 stars
Really good laminate, no complaints about the product itself — it looks smart and feels genuinely thick and sturdy. Giving four stars rather than five just because I had a couple of boards with very slightly different tone to the rest of the pack, though it's barely noticeable once it's all down.
Looks brilliant
Just finished laying this in the bedroom and it looks absolutely brilliant. Really substantial feel underfoot — you can tell it's quality.
Bedroom floor done
Fitted this in the master bedroom over a weekend. Went down without any drama and looks lovely. Warm, dark tone is exactly what I wanted.
