Suitable for use over underfloor heating the Dezent 10mm has a thermal conductivity rating of 0,084 m2K/W so it can help warm up rooms around the home in an energy-sufficient way.
Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Solid laminate, really happy with it
Fitted this across the living room and hallway last weekend. The 10mm thickness makes a real difference underfoot — feels genuinely substantial, not that hollow clicky feeling you get with cheaper stuff. Colour's spot on too, very close to the photos.

Fine for a spare room
Looks decent enough and fitted without too much hassle. Wouldn't say it has a luxury feel exactly, but for a spare bedroom it does the job fine. Probably wouldn't put it in the main living space personally, but for the price I'm not complaining.
Good value for money
Much better than the laminate we ripped out. Fitted the kitchen and dining area over two days — delivery was quick and well packaged. Slight gripe is I wish there were a couple more shade options but the oak we went for works well.

Replaced tired carpet with this and it's transformed the room. Nice warm oak tone, sits really well underfoot at 10mm — you can tell it's not budget.
Decent floor, minor fitting frustrations
Wasn't sure about tackling this myself but it went down fairly smoothly. Had a bit of trouble getting a couple of the end boards to click properly — nothing major, just fiddly. End result looks brilliant though and the oak effect is really convincing.

The colour in person is noticeably darker than it appeared in the product photos — we were hoping for something a bit lighter. It does look okay once it's down, and the boards themselves feel well made, but worth being aware of if you're colour matching to existing furniture.

The grain pattern is convincing — doesn't look plasticky like some cheaper options we looked at. At 10mm it's a proper feel to it. Knocked one star off only because one pack had a board with a small chip on the edge, had to cut around it.

Great laminate, took a while to fit
Took longer to fit than I expected — mostly because I wanted to get the pattern placement right. But the end result is stunning. The oak grain looks really natural and the boards feel weighty and well made. Definitely a long-term floor rather than something you're replacing in a few years.

We had a cheaper 7mm floor before and the difference is night and day. This feels like a proper floor. The sound is better too — less hollow. Put it throughout the ground floor and couldn't be more pleased.

First time I've laid laminate myself and I'll be honest — the click system had me frustrated for the first half hour. Once I watched a couple of videos and got my technique sorted it was fine. The floor itself looks brilliant. The oak tone is warm and natural and you can really feel the quality of the 10mm boards. Would recommend, just give yourself more time than you think.
Conservatory and dining room — both great
Used this in two rooms and ordered enough to do both in one go. Colour is consistent across all packs which was a relief. The 10mm gives it that reassuring solidity — you can feel it's not going anywhere. Minor point: wish there were a couple more colour variants in the range, but the Dezent Oak works well in both spaces.
