Good laminate for a rental
Landlord asked me to sort the bedroom floor in our rental property. This was the right choice — looks good, easy to fit, and priced sensibly. It's not going to feel like solid wood but for a rental it's absolutely fine.
Great value herringbone
Looks far more expensive than it is. Really pleased.
Happy with the purchase
Bought for a downstairs home office conversion. The colour is great — darker than standard oak which I preferred. It's entry-level laminate so don't expect it to feel super solid underfoot, but for the price and the look you really can't grumble.
Bedroom floor sorted
Exactly what we needed.
Looks smart, easy to lay
Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but this arrived quickly and was straightforward to fit. The herringbone pattern is eye-catching and the black oak colour is exactly as shown. Really pleased with the overall effect in our living room.
Really good for the price
Took a bit of getting used to the click system on the herringbone pieces but once I'd done a few rows it clicked — literally. Finish looks great and the colour is really rich. Only wish there were a few more colour options in this style but the one available is lovely.
Smart finish for the landing
Chose this for the upstairs landing and it's made such a difference. The dark oak tone ties in with our skirting boards and the herringbone pattern adds something a bit different. Took a little longer to lay around the doorframes but worth the effort.
So pleased with how this turned out
Had the living room and dining room done with this and it flows beautifully between the two spaces. The herringbone gives it a classic look that I wasn't sure would work in a modern house — it absolutely does. Fitter said it was easy to work with too.
Great budget option
At 8mm it's not going to feel like a high-end floor but that's reflected in the price. For a spare room or low-traffic area it's ideal. Looks great, fits well, no complaints.
Solid, looks the part
Easy to fit. Looks premium. Good value.
Does exactly what it should
Bought this for a spare bedroom. Fits well, looks great.
Fitted this last weekend — very happy
The click system is straightforward once you get into a rhythm. The herringbone layout took a bit of planning at the edges but nothing too daunting. Colour is rich and dark — really smart finish. Good buy for the money.
Brilliant value
Looks far more premium than the price suggests. The herringbone pattern does all the work.
Impressed
Fitted the utility room with this. Looks smart, cleans up easily, no issues.
Perfect for our extension
Had the extension done earlier this year and needed something that looked high-end without costing a fortune. The Elba Oak Black herringbone fits that brief perfectly. The pattern really lifts the space. Couple of boards had very minor surface marks out of the pack but nothing noticeable once fitted.
Transformed our hallway
Old carpet was a nightmare — this has completely changed the feel of the entrance. The black oak tone is darker in person than the photos suggest, but I actually prefer it. Laid it myself in an afternoon with no issues.
Looks expensive, isn't
Exactly what you want from a budget floor. The herringbone pattern makes it look like it cost twice as much. Would buy again without hesitation.
Kitchen floor sorted — finally
We'd been putting off the kitchen floor for ages. Went with this and couldn't be more pleased. It's held up well to daily family use so far and the dark colour is very forgiving. Fitting was straightforward — I'd tiled before so picking up the herringbone pattern wasn't too tricky.
Much better than our old laminate
Previous floor was a cheap light oak and it looked terrible after a few years. This is a massive improvement — the dark tone hides dirt well and the herringbone pattern makes the room feel properly designed. Would recommend.
Good stuff
Snapped together easily, looks brilliant. Topped off the lounge nicely.
Looks stunning in the living room
Fitted this over a weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The herringbone pattern gives the room a really premium look — guests always comment on it. For the price, it's brilliant. Does feel like a budget laminate underfoot if you're being picky, but visually it's a cut above.
Herringbone pattern is a winner
Was worried about fitting herringbone myself but the click system made it manageable. Took longer than a standard straight lay but the end result is absolutely stunning. Really adds character to the dining room. Minor tip — acclimatise the boards for at least 48 hours before you start.
Nice
Really like it.
