Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Herringbone pattern is stunning
Fitted this last weekend in the hallway and honestly couldn't be happier. The herringbone pattern looks far more expensive than it is — loads of visitors have commented on it already. At 8mm it's not the thickest laminate out there, but for a hallway it does the job nicely and the click system was pretty straightforward once I got the hang of it. Good value all round.
Slightly darker than the photos
The colour came up a touch darker in person than on screen, but honestly I prefer it — it's richer and warmer than expected. Fitted it in the bedroom and it looks lovely with light walls. Wish there were a couple more shade options in this range but happy overall.
Great for the money
Fitted in the conservatory and it looks smart. A couple of boards had very minor surface marks when I opened the boxes but nothing that showed once laid. Overall really pleased with the result.

Transformed the spare room
Our old carpet in the spare room was hideous. This has completely changed the feel of the space — the Linford Oak tone is warm without being too yellow. Easy to lay once you plan out the herringbone pattern first.

Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but the samples were spot on and the product matched exactly. Fitted the downstairs hallway and landing over a weekend. Just bear in mind it's 8mm so don't expect a really solid, chunky feel underfoot — that's just the nature of this price bracket.
