Acclimatisation

Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but really glad I did

Really nice colour, good underfoot feel

Was worried the French Grey might look too clinical but it's actually really elegant. The SPC core gives it a surprisingly solid feel for the thickness. Did our open-plan living and dining area — maybe 35sqm — and it all clicked together well. One or two boards needed a bit of persuasion but nothing major. Would buy again.

Really pleased all round

Fitted the whole downstairs of our terrace with this — hallway, living room, dining area. The rigid SPC core is reassuring; no flex at all even over our slightly uneven subfloor. Took a bit longer to fit than expected but stunning result

Not the fastest flooring I've ever laid — the click system took some getting used to in the tighter corners — but once it was down it looked absolutely immaculate. The French Grey is a versatile shade that works with almost any decor. Worth the effort.
