Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Solid, looks the part
Put this down in the dining room. Rigid core feels decent underfoot and the pattern looks far more expensive than it is. Minor thing — a couple of boards had very slight variation in shade, but honestly once it's all down you don't notice at all.

Took longer than expected but worth every minute
Laying herringbone is genuinely more involved than standard planks — took me most of Saturday to do the landing. But standing back at the end of it I couldn't believe how good it looked. The colour is spot on, that muted grey oak is really on trend without feeling like it'll date quickly. Happy to put the time in for a result like this.
Good floor, click system took some getting used to
Really happy with how the conservatory looks now — so much better than the old laminate. The grey oak colour is really versatile. Only minor thing is the click system was a little stiff in places, took a few goes to get the hang of it. Nothing major, just something to be aware of if it's your first time fitting SPC.

Decent herringbone for the price
Went with this for the bedroom after seeing it in a showroom elsewhere for nearly double. The grey is a nice neutral — works with pretty much anything. Took me a bit longer to lay than standard planks because of the herringbone pattern but that's on me, not the product. Very happy overall.
Herringbone pattern is a real statement
I was a bit nervous the herringbone would look too fussy in a small hallway but it genuinely elevates the space. The soft grey is versatile and doesn't clash with anything. Fitting does take patience — I'd recommend watching a couple of YouTube videos first if you've not done it before — but the end result is well worth it. Neighbours have already asked where I got it.

Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but took the plunge and really glad I did. The colour matches the photos well — a soft, warm grey rather than a stark cold tone.
