Looks great in kitchen
Looks great in kitchen.
Really pleased with how it's come up
So pleased with how this turned out in the extension. The natural oak colour ties in perfectly with our kitchen units and the UV oiled finish means it doesn't need much maintenance which is exactly what we wanted. Slightly pricier than some alternatives we looked at but you can see where the money goes.
Fine for a spare room
Fitted in the spare bedroom and it looks fine. Wouldn't say it's the most characterful oak I've seen — fairly uniform grain — but for the money it's perfectly acceptable. Probably wouldn't put it in the main living areas but for a guest room it does the job.
Does exactly what it says
Good quality real wood floor. Does the job well.
Nice floor, fitting took longer than expected
Took longer to fit than I'd anticipated — real wood needs more care than laminate and I had to be patient with the acclimatisation period. But honestly the end result is worth it. Feels solid and looks premium. Slight colour variation between boards which I actually think adds to the natural character.
Hallway sorted
Fitted the hallway in an afternoon. Click system was easy to work with once you get into the rhythm. Make sure you acclimatise it properly first — I left mine for 48 hours. Looks the part and feels substantial underfoot.
Decent but not quite what I pictured
The colour came up a bit darker in person than the photos online suggested. Not terrible by any means, and the quality of the board itself feels good for the price, but I was expecting something slightly lighter. It's grown on me a bit since fitting. Might just be the light in our hallway.
Not quite what I expected
A couple of boards arrived with what looked like light surface marks — hard to tell if they were intentional from the brushing process or actual damage in transit. The floor looks OK once down but for the price I'd expect more consistency. It's not bad, just not the wow factor I was hoping for.
Stunning in the living room
Wasn't sure about ordering flooring online but so glad I did. The oak tones are warm and the UV oiled finish means it doesn't look plasticky at all — really natural. Took a long weekend to fit the whole lounge but the end result is stunning. Would absolutely buy again.
Happy with this purchase
Our old carpet in the bedroom was awful after ten years. This has completely changed the room — feels much more grown up and easier to keep clean. The brushed texture hides minor scratches well which was a concern with a dog in the house. Delivery was quick too.
Lovely finish in the dining room
Fitted this across our dining room last month and it's transformed the space. The brushed finish gives it a really natural look — guests keep asking if it's real wood. Fitting was straightforward, though I'd recommend taking your time with the first row. Solid feel underfoot for a 14mm board.
Real wood feel, proper job
Easy to fit. Looks premium. Good value for real wood at this thickness.
