Acclimatisation
On delivery, check the outer packaging for any visible damage before signing — you don't need to open every pack. Then allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting, keeping packs sealed and laid flat.

Fitted this last weekend and honestly couldn't be happier. The wax oiled finish gives it such a warm, authentic feel — looks like proper solid wood. Our old laminate was embarrassing by comparison.
Stunning finish in our living room
Fitted this across the whole ground floor last month and couldn't be happier. The distressed oak look is exactly what we wanted — proper characterful, not that fake plasticky finish you get with cheaper stuff. Feels solid underfoot too, which I wasn't expecting having been burned by thinner boards before. Well worth the money.
Not bad
Looks nice enough but I wouldn't call it premium. Fine for the spare bedroom, probably wouldn't put it in the main living areas if I'm honest. Colour is a touch lighter than the photos suggested.

Really pleased with the result
Wasn't sure about the distressed look at first — my partner talked me into it — but seeing it laid in our dining room I have to admit it's gorgeous. The character marks give it real warmth. Solid as anything underfoot, as you'd expect from 15mm engineered. Delivery was fast too.

Couple of boards weren't great
Most of the pack was fine but a couple of boards had some minor surface marks that weren't really in keeping with the distressed look — more like damage than character, if that makes sense. Contacted customer service and they were helpful about it. Overall the floor looks good laid out but just flagging it.

Nice floor, slightly off on colour
Not quite what I expected from the photos online — it's a touch darker in person. That said, it actually works really well with our furniture so I'm not complaining too much. Fitting was easy enough and it feels genuinely substantial underfoot. Would probably still recommend.
Fine for the bedroom, wouldn't put it in the lounge
Looks nice enough and fitting was fairly simple once I got the hang of it. For a spare bedroom it's absolutely fine. Not sure I'd use it in a main living area though — the wax oiled surface picks up marks more than I'd expected and needs more maintenance than I'd like. Decent product for the right room.

Transformed our Victorian terrace
Much better than our old laminate. The genuine oak gives it a completely different quality feel — you can hear it, feel it underfoot. The antique distressed finish suits the age of the house perfectly. Not a budget purchase but you can absolutely see where the money goes.

Good but took ages to fit
Took longer to fit than I expected — partly my own fault for not acclimatising it long enough at first. End result is stunning though, genuinely looks like a high-end floor. The distressed character hides any minor imperfections too which is handy.
Looks great but maintenance needed
The floor looks absolutely beautiful — the wax oiled finish has real depth to it and the distressed character is lovely. Main thing to be aware of is that wax oiled floors do need re-oiling occasionally, which is a bit of extra work. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing going in. Four stars because it's genuinely a great product.

Was worried about ordering flooring online but this arrived well packaged and the quality is obvious straight away. The 15mm thickness makes it feel really solid — nothing hollow or cheap about it. Wax oil finish is beautiful. Went in our open plan kitchen-diner and it's drawn loads of compliments.

Not quite what I expected
The colour is quite different in person to what I saw on my screen — much more orange-toned than the warm grey I was expecting. It looks OK once down but I spent a while trying to match it to our skirting boards and it was a struggle. The quality itself is fine, just wish the online imagery was more accurate.

Looks nice enough and the distressed effect is convincing. It's a decent floor for the money. That said, I wouldn't describe it as luxury — it's more of a solid mid-range product. Fine for a dining room or bedroom, probably wouldn't put it as the hero floor in a main living space. Wax oil finish does look lovely though.
