Acclimatisation
Allow your flooring to acclimatise in the room where it will be installed for at least 48 hours before fitting. Keep packs sealed and lay them flat.

Good quality laminate underlay
Very pleased with the 2mm Timbertech High Density / Heavy Duty Underlay which was laid on a concrete floor base before laying the 12mm laminate also ordered from the floor depot. Both work well together and you can feel how the underlay cushions you as you walk and no creeks are heard. Highly recommended. Vith were laid in my hallway from my front door to back lounge measuring approx 11 meters in length.
